ABOUT ME

I am Madison Aman, an Emmy Award winning videographer working for the Dallas Cowboys.

Having the opportunity to be able to tell people’s stories and give a glimpse into someone's life is a privilege that I do not take lightly.  I am passionate about what I do and can't wait to get to work each day!  The challenges of capturing the determination and extraordinary accomplishments of athletes is what drives me to display each person’s drive, dedication and love of their particular sport through video.

My interest for sports productions first began as a student at Allen High School through my broadcast journalism classes.  Not only is Allen High School one of the largest high schools in the nation, they also have one of the most prominent football programs with 5 state championships, 3 of those being during my years of attendance.  Through this valuable experience, with the combination of their phenomenal broadcast program, my passion was ignited for not only football, but all sports.  My responsibilities in this class included being sports producer and sports reporter, in addition to co-hosting our weekly sports show, "Sports Roundup."  In these positions, I covered football and baseball, and I was lead reporter for men's and women's basketball.

In the fall of 2014, my journey began at The University of Mississippi ~ Ole Miss.  Beginning freshman year, I seized the opportunity to audition for the student newscast, NewsWatch, and was hired as a sports reporter.  My duties included covering multiple university and local sports, in addition to anchoring on the weekly sports show, "RebelWatch."

At the end of my freshman year in April 2015, my sports production experience continued when I began working as a student intern in the athletic department with Ole Miss Sports Productions.  As an intern, I had multiple responsibilities.  I edited segments for the weekly Emmy Award-winning show, "The Season", which covered the Ole Miss Rebel football team. Along with this, I also created weekly game promos and hype videos, in addition to shooting several segments with mic'd up players and coaches during practice and games for their corresponding show.  However, my responsibilities did not stop with editing and camera work, as I also ran the video boards with Show Control through Daktronics for in-venue sports.

In August 2019, I graduated from Ole Miss with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Journalism, with an in emphasis Broadcast, and a minor in Digital Media Studies with an Arts emphasis.

Starting in October 2019, I began working for the Dallas Cowboys Football Club as a Video Editor and Production Assistant in the TV Broadcast Department.  My duties included editing nationally broadcasted documentaries about the history of the Dallas Cowboys and many hype video bumps and promotionals for shows produced by the football club.  I also ran in-studio camera and jib for the TV shows we produced.  In addition to these obligations, I also ran Chyron for several of our productions.

In May 2021, I moved to the Creative Video Department, where I was able to start shooting more in both football and sponsorship events.  On game days, I am usually on the sideline getting all of the action.  Additionally, I edit and create multiple videos throughout the week, ranging from sponsorship promotionals, social media requests, and football videos.

I feel very fortunate to have worked and been trained with some of the biggest sports programs in the nation.  Through these programs, I have had the opportunity to use the best cameras and have learned how to edit with the latest programs in the industry.  Those that have mentored me have not only inspired me, but challenged me to exceed all expectations. I am ready and excited to bring my experience, creativity, and work ethic to my next endeavor.
